Ancient History

Under the term Old-Time Medicine most people probably think at once of Greek medicine, since that developed in what we have called ancient history, and is farthest away from us in date. As a matter of fact, however, much more is known about Greek medical writers than those of any other period except the last century or two.

Beginning in the late 1960s, both Brent Raynes and I started on a parallel quest in hunt of the truth about UFOs. Brent's many early trips included visits and contacts with some of ufology's major figures, people who became his friends, such as Betty Hill, Dr. Berthold Schwarz, and John Keel.

Until the true source from whence it sprang can be reached and understood, its nature will remain as mysterious as its universality, for what man could see in an object so repulsive and forbidding in its habits as this reptile, to render worship to, is one of the most difficult of problems to find a solution to.

Albert Churchward is quite likely the only person to have written such and extensive and monumental work on religion. It is called monumental because he attempts to encompass the evolution of religious ideas that have taken place over millions of years. This results in having to explore human evolution, not only in a religious sense, but physically and psychologically as well.

Anglo-Saxon history is largely ignored by world history books, possibly due to the legends and myths that have come from that history, blurring the lines of history and fiction. Yet, the history is as full and rich as are the myths.
