As most practitioners of magick, wizardry and other forms of spellwork already know, most covens or solitary workers of magick keep a handwritten Book of Shadows. This is a LARGE PRINT edition of the book My Book of Shadows by the same author.

Please note that since this book is a work of magick and readers may want to perform their own spells and rituals, we have left the back side of each printed page blank so that they can make their own notes as they go along. Happy Spellcrafting.
Casting the Circle
Before casting the Circle or performing any magick, we need to know that Magick is real! We honor the God and the Goddess, sometimes called the Lord and the Lady. Magick is like anything else and yet like nothing else. We honor the divine feminine (Goddess) which has been lost from ancient times, including Christianity. Magick, Wicca and Wizardry is motivated by love and self-transformation. The whole purpose is to heal self and others.
You begin the practice of Magick by taking responsibility for your life and everything in it as this is a parameter of coming into your power and self-actualization.
When performing any magick, it is important that you are aware of your inner state. Do not become distracted if possible. By all means, eliminate negative energy in your space and in your life before working major magick.
Forgive yourself and others and do not perform rituals when you are angry. You will invoke a power you do not want to invite in your path.
There are three aspects of the Goddess: Maiden, Mother and Crone:
The Maiden symbolizes youth and the continuation of life, the season of spring, and the waxing Moon. The Maiden is associated with purity, enchantment, expansion, female principle, new beginnings, youth, excitement, and a carefree erotic aura. Maiden goddesses include: Artemis, Selene, Brigit, Skuld, Durga and others. Her colors: white, light pink and yellow.
