Just what is the story behind the Spear of Destiny that even Hitler himself, sought its powers?
The Queen of Sheba story examined from manuscripts discovered at Axum.
Though the resemblance of early Sumerian tradition to that of the Hebrews is striking, it furnishes a still closer parallel to the summaries preserved from the history of Berossus. The huge figures incorporated in the latter's chronological scheme are no longer to be treated as a product of Neo-Babylonian speculation; they reappear in their original surroundings in another of these early documents, the Sumerian Dynastic List.
ARE the narratives of Genesis history or legend? For the modern historian this is no longer an open question; nevertheless it is important to get a clear notion of the bases of this modern position.
Translations of all the Ethiopic Literature concerning the Blessed Mother Mary.
This is Budge's great work in defining how the gods of Egypt were related to each other and their functions. Understanding these ancient Egyptian gods brings you a greater understanding of the source of polytheism of Rome, Greece, and even the multi-headed god of Christianity, which is polytheism in a modified form. Another mystery in the Egyptian beliefs was their origin of monotheism which can be directly linked to the monotheism of Judaism and Islam.
Set of Four Volumes: Besides the pseudepigrapha there are other Jewish sources in Christian garb. In the rich literature of the Church Fathers many a Jewish legend lies embalmed which one would seek in vain in Jewish books. It was therefore my special concern to use the writings of the Fathers to the utmost. The luxuriant abundance of the material to be presented made it impossible to give a verbal rendition of each legend. This would have required more than three times the space at my disposal.

My efforts have been directed to bringing together as full as possible a collection of Jewish legends that deal with Biblical personages and events. The sources of those legends and explanations of some of them will be given
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a People of strange language, Jacob was His sanctuary and Israel His dominion. Jewish legend attempts to describe how God's sanctuary, the religion of Israel and His dominion, the beginnings of Israel as a nation, arose in the time between the Exodus from Egypt and the entrance into the Holy Land. Moses is regarded not only as the greatest religious guide of Israel, but also as its first national leader; he is "the wisest of the wise, the father of the prophets," as well as "king in Jeshiurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel gathered together.
The early history of the first Jewish conqueror in some respects is like the early history of the first Jewish legislator. Moses was rescued from a watery grave, and raised at the court of Egypt. Joshua, in infancy, was swallowed by a whale, and, wonderful to relate, did not perish. At a distant point of the sea-coast the monster spewed him forth unharmed. He was found by compassionate passers-by, and grew up ignorant of his descent.
Debunking the myth of Divine origins of the Old Testament, and tracing the Old Testament myths to their original sources.
For centuries, the politically and geographically isolated mountain kingdom of Tibet had been an enigma to Westerners. But in the dawn of the 20th century, its seclusion ended when British troops based in India were ordered to enter the Mystical Land of the Grand Lama. Heading an expedition which crossed the Tibetan border in July of 1903 was Col. Francis Younghusband, a veteran army officer and explorer. His assignment: to negotiate trade and border issues with the country's highest authorities.
