It is ever the miracle within the human soul that religion, as distinct from secular human physical science, must cultivate and place in living control of life, if human life is to be harmoniously related to the world, to the body, to the orderly course of evolutionary progress.
Marvels of science, mechanical improvements, increase of wealth (and income tax), and the perfection of all warlike apparatus, seem to blind us to the fact that abstract qualities of mind have shown no symptoms of progression.
The faint flickering gleam of fourteen little Candles shines forth into the world, bringing to a vast number of people some of the Light of astral knowledge.
This is a book of triple power. It combines a presentation of the magickal virtues within the 150 Psalms of the Holy Bible, the ancient art of candle burning and an unusual method of invoking the Divine Names of Power.
In my distilling processes, I frequently precipitated the phlegma of our earthball--its polar deserts, its Russian forests, its icebergs--and from the sediments extracted a beautiful by-earth, a small satellite. If we extract and regulate the charms of this old world, we can form a delightful though minutely condensed world.
2 books in 1 volume: Most studies show that nearly all religions originated in India, and what we see today are mere variants of those early religions of mankind. Buddhism is no different. Its moral dogmas have been copied into many other religions and portions of the life of Buddha himself have be re-created under the names of other prophets and gods. There is nothing new under the sun. This is a massive study of Buddha and Buddhist beliefs.
Shows the inter-relationships of the many mythological, legendary and heroic figures which from the beginning of time were recorded by the Aryan people in their epic sagas. Long forgotten and suppressed, the British Edda is back. Originally published 1929.

As life nears its end with me, I find myself meditating more and more upon the mystery of its nature and origin, yet without the least hope that I can find out the ways of the Eternal in this or in any other world. In these studies I fancy I am about as far from mastering the mystery as the ant which I saw this morning industriously exploring a small section of the garden walk is from getting a clear idea of the geography of the North American Continent. But the ant was occupied and was apparently happy, and she must have learned something about a small fraction of that part of the earth's surface
An interesting look at spiritism, or communicating through the veil to the great beyond.
Canonized and Apocryphal Books of Wisdom from the Scriptures. Apocryphal Books were removed from Protestant Bibles in 1826. The Psalms of Solomon were never printed in either volume. This collection of Wisdom writings are seldom ever published together or as a total volume. Apocryphal Books: Wisdom of Solomon, Wisdom of Sirach, Canticles of Solomon, Psalms of Solomon, The Proverbs, The Qoheleth
SCARCELY any department of theological science has, in the last few decades, received such marked attention and cultivation as that branch for which the Germans have adopted the felicitous appellation Neutestamentliche Zeitgeschichte,-the study of the age of Christ in its political, social, and religious aspects. The Schodde Translation of the Book of Enoch of 1882.
Enoch 1: Translated by R.H. Charles & Richard Laurence : Enoch 2: "Secrets of Enoch" : These books were denounced, banned, cursed, no doubt burned and shredded-and last but not least, lost (and conveniently forgotten) for a thousand years. But with an uncanny persistence, the Book of Enoch found its way back into circulation two centuries ago.

Theology and Religion are the highest of all studies--the aroma scientiarum--they have attracted the most powerful minds and the subtlest intellects to their elucidation; no other subjects have excited men's minds and aroused their passions as these have done; on account of their unspeakable importance, no other subjects have kindled such heat and strife, or proved themselves more fatal to many of the authors who wrote concerning them.
