Lord Lytton is famous for his book "The Coming Race" that included his vision for an energy called 'VRIL power.' The Third Reich was evidently quite aware of Lytton's visions and theories, as they named some of their experimental craft "VRIL". TGS has selected several books by Lord Lytton to add to their historical reprints catalog.

The Conquest of Bread is a revolutionary idyl, a beautiful outline sketch of a future society based on liberty, equality and fraternity. It is, in Kropotkin's own words, "a study of the needs of humanity, and of the economic means to satisfy them."

From one of the most outspoken and prolific authors that spoke out for a total free press, including one that published erotica, with the intent of making the subject normal, rather than a hidden taboo. This book is a psychological view of mankind's warped view of sexuality, and he preferred the open, and honest discussion of the matter.

As often as it is repeated in the two former books, that the writing, speaking, picture making were always done by some spirit in visible form while standing before and in sight and hearing of the whole circle, some persons, who say they have read these accounts, still ask us; "Why, could you see the specter? Could you hear it talk? Could you see it write ? Could you see it while it was making a picture ?"

Whatever opinion may be formed as to the merits of this my first work, I would beg my readers not to pronounce me guilty of presumption, in attempting to write on so grave and difficult a subject, as theology. This book is primarily a study of Man and ultimately embraces all the great qualities and problems of Man. As a study of Man it takes into consideration all the characteristics which make Man what he is.

The information in this book is the master key which unlocks the door to higher dimensions of peace and power. A better life awaits you, a life in which you may banish the negative fetters of doubt, fear and guilt, so that you may be all you were intended to be. However, just reading this book will not do it -- you must apply the principles set forth, and thus create a firm foundation upon which you can build a new and better life.
