Many people cite Hegel, and just as many slur him and his theories. His name has become a byword in political discussions. Yet have any of these people really ever considered Hegel's philosophy or is it by rote (the 10th monkey) they derogate his work? The Hegelian philosophy was more than just the dialectic and this set of books explores all of it.

Whatever forces may govern human life, if they are to be recognised by man, must betray themselves in human experience. Set of Four Volumes: Besides the pseudepigrapha there are other Jewish sources in Christian garb. In the rich literature of the Church Fathers many a Jewish legend lies embalmed which one would seek in vain in Jewish books. It was therefore my special concern to use the writings of the Fathers to the utmost. The luxuriant abundance of the material to be presented made it impossible to give a verbal rendition of each legend. This would have required more than three times the space at my disposal.

Four book set on Philo Judaeus: Philosophers, by the very excellence of their thought, have in all races towered above the comprehension of the people, and aroused the suspicion of the religious teachers. Elsewhere, however, though rejected by the Church, they have left their influence upon the nation, and taken a commanding place in its history, because they have founded secular schools of thought, which perpetuated their work.
