Ghosts have been with us forever.... yet still not fully explained..

Our favorite mythological character, who just doesn't seem to go away through time. So a myth or not the Devil rules the Western world.

Fear is a state of mind. . . and it is not uncommon for those who are touched by the unseen and the unknown to fear that which is not human or man made. guess that would include both UFOs and the occupants of these globes and saucers that come in the dead of night and remove the unsuspecting from their homes and their bedrooms and subject them to all manner of nightmare.

Almost all persons dream, and while dreaming they see and hear, touch and taste, without questioning for a moment the reality of these experiences. The dreaming person loses sight of the fact that he is in a bedroom of a particular house, that he has certain relations with others sleeping in the same house. He loses sight of the fact that his name is, let us say, Henry, and that he is famous for the manufacture of a particular brand of soap or cheese.

After more than twenty years of continuous and careful study since the foregoing was written, I must still confirm and emphasize these basic propositions to-day. The attempt is herein made to apply them more particularly to the study of Psychology. To add to what was then discerned and designated as "the Modulus of Nature," an exact and comprehensive Theorem of Psychology.
