History and Legends With accounts of the Ancient Druids and Sagas.
TWO BOOKS IN ONE VOLUME! That it was a temple of the Druids, of the patriarchal mode, who were a most ancient oriental colony. In later times, the Belgae from the continent, conquer'd this country from them. Whence these stones were brought? Of their nature, magnitude, weight. In shape Egypt is like a lily with a crooked stem. A broad blossom terminates it at its upper end; a button of a bud projects from the stalk a little below the blossom, on the left-hand side. The broad blossom is the Delta, extending from Aboosir to Tineh, a direct distance of a hundred and eighty miles, which the projection of the coast-the graceful swell of the petals-enlarges to two hundred and thirty.
The present reprint has been prepared in order that this incomparable Saga may become accessible to those readers with whom a good story is the first consideration and its bearing upon a nation's history a secondary one-or is not considered at all. For Burnt Njal may be approached either as a historical document, or as a pure narrative of elemental natures, of strong passions; and of heroic feats of strength.
A quick look at the history and reason for Freemasonry

Lord Lytton is famous for his book "The Coming Race" that included his vision for an energy called 'VRIL power.' The Third Reich was evidently quite aware of Lytton's visions and theories, as they named some of their experimental craft "VRIL". Many other of Lord Lytton's books are merely dismissed as literature or fiction. Though written in fiction prose, his other mysteries and visions are recorded in his less known works. TGS has selected some of these books by Lord Lytton to add to their historical reprints catalog.
This reprint is from the famous mystic teacher and author of 'Secret of All Ages', Manly P. Hall. Phrenology, Palmistry, Physiognomy, and Graphology are all covered.
Seldom do history books relate the importance of magic to Roman life, thought, and beliefs.
There is a Psychic Ether, related to thought, as the luminiferous ether is to light. This may be regarded as the thought atmosphere of the universe. A thinking being in this atmosphere is a pulsating center of thought-waves, as a luminous body is of light.
Naturally, there clusters about the sun a rich mine of folk-lore. The prominence of the orb of day, its importance in the maintenance and the development of life, the mystery that has ever enveloped it, its great influence in the well-being of mankind, have secured for the sun a history of interest equalled by none, to which every age and every race have contributed their pages.
Serious study into sundials and roses; and man's love affair with both, as he turned both into emblems for symbols of meanings.
The author looks at Witchcraft in the 17th century as a living religion or faith and traces the history of that faith with Christianity's reactions to the witch's faith.
