This volume is intended to further elucidate my theories of electrical creation, to cover some points lightly touched upon in my previous books; also to bring forward to date the most recent scientific facts and discoveries tending to show that the universe is a vast electric machine or organism.
This book is the fourth of a series by David H. Lewis, based on research
involving the infinite powers of the human mind and our universal
energy. Its contents establish the connection between our normally used
powers and the unknown gifted powers from the center of Creation.

A hard to find book from 1886, republished by TGS. A look at mythical monsters and other myths from a scientific point of view, without the myth and fear behind the monster stories.

At this very moment high level sources in the government are attempting at all costs to keep under careful wraps the biggest military cover-up in United States history. It is a conspiracy that involves a project so hush-hush that only the President and a handful of his most trusted advisors-members of the Defense Department, the CIA and the National Security Council-are even aware of the very existence of this classified above Top Secret matter that could well alter the course of our very lives.
When Edwin Sidney Hartland published his book, The Science of Fairy Tales, in 1891, little did he realize the impact his research into the myths and folklore of the supernatural world of the little folk would have for many generations afterwards.
The Third Reich went underground (literally) after the war and may be attempting to jumpstart a Fourth Reich any day now with their crazy flying machines that could still be functioning and airborne in our present time.
"UFO Mysteries is one of the best works on the subject of UFOs since Jacques Vallee's seminal 1965 Anatomy of a Phenomenon. Sutherly has blended skillful writing with the determination of a true investigator to produce an objective and introspective look at one of the greatest enigmas humankind has so far faced."
UFOs have been appearing in the heavens since the beginning of recorded history. Thousands of sightings have been made. Hundreds of credible witnesses have experienced close encounters of the first, second and third kind. Yet, forgotten amongst the many dozens of always fascinating accounts are the sightings made at sea. USOs have following our ocean faring vessels, and have been known to light up the sea at night as they head for their "home away from home."
Well, just about everyone does astral travel when they go to sleep. The astral body goes off, and the physical body is meant to remain more or less passive, twisting and turning a bit, of course, in order that muscles may not be strained by being contracted for too long in one position.
This book had its origin on this wise. In my Irish Witchcraft and Demonology, published in October 1913, I inserted a couple of famous 17th century ghost stories which described how lawsuits were set on foot at the instigation of most importunate spirits. It then occurred to me that as far as I knew there was no such thing in existence as a book of Irish ghost stories. Books on Irish fairy and folk-lore there were in abundance-some of which could easily be spared-but there was no book of ghosts. And so I determined to supply this sad omission.
To those who wish to understand the reason of this steady recurrence of mystic tradition in every century, these studies may be of some use. They will serve as literary landmarks to guide the seeker to those distant sources whence flow faint echoes of divine truths--the heritage of the divine human race; truths that bring dim memories to the soul which are its highest impulse, and give the clue that guides it to the inner "science of the soul"--the mystic quest of all the saints, and the hidden truth that all religions have tried to teach, and which only a few in each religion have ever realized.
