It was a time when people were questioning their beliefs. Christianity and organized religion seemed stagnant and out of touch with a new generation who were seeking spiritual truths rather than undefined platitudes. People were seeking answers, but no one knew what the question was. The time was ripe for a new beginning.
Biographies and a look at the philosophies of James Hinton, Nietzsche, and Edward Carpenter.
The present decade has experienced an intense interest in mental healing. This has come as a culmination of the development along these lines during the past half century. It has shown itself in the beginning of new religious sects with this as a, or the, fundamental tenet, in more wide-spread general movements, and in the scientific study and application of the principles underlying this form of therapeutics.
King Tut brought the entire world to its knees in admiration of the masterful skills of Ancient Egypt. No other discovery from that land has thrilled the world more than the discovery of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamen. Riches and unknown wonders were revealed to the modern world that were only suspected in history. This manuscript about Tutankhamen is by the world's foremost Egyptologist in his era, and he was probably one of the first to scientifically and critically examine the tomb, the mummy, and the artifacts.

Ancient and Forgotten Manuscript of Tea Tephi. This manuscript evidences a new light on the theory of British Israelism. Perhaps the Hebrews came to Ireland hudreds, perhaps a thousand years before modern accounts states.
A reprint of the groundbreaking work of Professor W. J. Perry, an early diffusionist who believed that civilization spread throughout the world via transoceanic voyaging -- an idea that most historians still fail to accept, even in the face of mounting evidence. First published in 1923, this classic presents the fascinating evidence that envoys of the ancient Sun Kingdoms of Egypt and India travelled into Indonesia and the Pacific circa 1500 BC, spreading their sophisticated culture...
The Greek Antiquities are full of Poetical Fictions, because the Greeks wrote nothing in Prose, before the Conquest of Asia by Cyrus the Persian. Then Pherecydes Scyrius and Cadmus Milesius introduced the writing in Prose. Pherecydes Atheniensis, about the end of the Reign of Darius Hystaspis, wrote of Antiquities, and digested his work by Genealogies, and was reckoned one of the best Genealogers.
A good expose of the Masonic rituals and their meanings.
